There are several commemorative activities planned this fall to commemorate World War II. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Europe, which is why many people are paying extra attention to this commemoration. Several European locations are still organizing events in October, November and December, such as the Battle of the Scheldt and the Battle of the Bulge. The focus is on peace, not war, so that young and old can learn from this. Many people commemorate this by dressing up in clothing and uniforms from that time, in combination with vehicles.
