British No5 Mk2 Jungle Carbine bayonet
This model of bayonet was originally made from 1944 to 1947 for the shortened version of the No4 Rifle called Lee Enfield No5 Mk1 "Jungle Carbine" The No5 Rifle was used in WW2 and post war in the Malaya emergency, Korea and most other 1950's conflicts. This is the Mk2 model with 2 bolts holding on the wood grips and the scabbard is also the second model with a brass neck
Due to the large conical flash suppressor, the No 5 Mk I could only mount the No5 which was also designed to serve as a knife if needed, it later went on to be used on the Sterling Machine gun after WW2.
