M1944 Jungle pack.

There were 2 versions of this rucksack made in WW2, the first was designed and called the jungle pack and was made in green and camouflage. The second version was called the Pack Field which is often called the M1943 or M1944 or the ETO pack. The ETO (European Theatre Operations) pack was larger than the jungle pack.

This replica is the size of the jungle pack but is marked M-1945 on the inside pack.

The US pack features:

• One large main compartment 
• Flap is closed by 2 straps.
• 2 straps are sewn onto the sides and go across the front so you can compress the size of the pack.
• Metal eyelets around the neck opening on the top of the main compartment, so you can add a cord to pull the top closed. Cord not included.
• 2 tabs with eyelets on the front and side of the flap to attach entrenching tool and bayonet.
• Lid pocket which is closed by a zip.
• One row of lightweight webbing loops on the lid.
• Shoulder straps are adjustable and have clips on the end of each strap.

Main compartment has a circular shaped base which measures 27 x 25cm. The top has a circumference of 88cm.
