creating a custom scale model
We recently had the pleasure of creating a custom scale model of the iconic P-51D Mustang, affectionately known as 'Miss Helen', for one of our customers. The attention to detail on this beauty is truly remarkable, as you can see from the accompanying photos of the carefully crafted decals.
For those unfamiliar with this legendary aircraft, the P-51D Mustang was a USAAF fighter aircraft that flew numerous missions from April 14, 1945. Miss Helen' was flown by the talented Captain Ray Littge and still flies today and can be admired in Duxford alongside many other Second World War aircraft.
