These are quality brassards and the best you can get, made to the war time specs from strong canvas with a waterproof front, these are not the cheap brassards which are just screen printed on PVC or plastic.

This is a replica of the invasion flag brassards used in WW2 by the Americans. The brassard type was used in the invasion of Holland by the Airborne forces, like the 82nd and 101st Airborne.

The brassard was designed to be wrapped around the upper arm and held in place by safety pins or cord, (pins and cord not included) sometimes the flag was cut out of the brassard and stitched directly onto the M43 jacket.
