The Turtle helmet was worn by D-day assault troops during the Normandy invasion on the 6th of 1944.

These helmets are made from converting original post war MK 4 helmets.

These helmets have the correct screw in liner and you can see on the top of the shell the screw/bolt from the outside so it has the correct WW2 Normandy look.

The turtle helmet is made from the following parts:

    Original MK4 Shell.
    MK2 Chinstrap
    Screw in liner  
    Sizes 56 to 62cm
