WW2 British  Royal Air Force Canvas holdall,
This Bag originally was issued to RAF Pilots and Aircrew to carry all they belongings in the Aircraft while on Combat missions over occupied France and Germany during WW2.  Its tall shape and long 3/4  length zip was special designed to fit inside the Airplane better due to limited  of space 
This bag was a popular item to acquire for many Army Airborne officers for their own personnel kit.
