This is the H.B.T. (Herring bone twill) shirt specially designed for women during WW2 by the American Army.
This was the summer field uniform worn by women in the US Army including the Nurse's, the M43 combat
jacket or the Officers field coat could be worn over the HBT uniform in colder conditions.
The shirt has 2 x chest pockets, Button adjustments on cuffs, Button up front, Tailored for hips and bust,
correct dark shade green, loose fit design.
Sizes: The actual sizes of the shirt are given as they are laid out flat so you will need to allow extra space for
clothing to be worn underneath. Chest size is measured from under arm to under arm. Sleeve length has been
measured from the top of the shoulder seam to the cuff of the sleeve.
