These olive coloured ‘watch’ caps are styled on the popular WW2 US A4 Mechanics hat. This hat was issued initially to USAAF ground crews before becoming popular with air crews, airborne infantry and naval forces.

Made from thick knitted olive wool, these watch caps have a tubular knit, with no middle seam. One size fits all. The fold allows the user to pull the hat down lower to cover the ears and neck if necessary. They are similar in design to the modern ‘beanie’ hat, which is a popular winter accessory.
