Blades:

  The TL-29 was developed in the early 20th century and was standard equipment for technicians in the U.S. Army during World War II.
  "TL" stands for "Tool, Lineman's," referring to its original use on telephone and telegraph lines.
  The knives were produced by several manufacturers, including Camillus, Klein Tools, and Ulster Knife Co. under contract to the military.
